"On Saturday afternoon you'll sit the ACU CTC Classroom Course, a requirement for your Licence, with more info on the Club, racedays, setup etc. On Sunday you'll be on track under the supervision of our ACU Club Coaches in small groups, who will guide you through skills and routines on track depending on your previous riding or track day experience. In the afternoon you will have the chance to experience a full race start under controlled conditions. This weekend we also use to assess the riding competancy of 15 yr olds and younger, with a view to allowing them to run on-track on the Sunday."

ACU's 2012 Licence Forms - Select Road Racing
For anyone thinking of joining us for the first time next year, either on the MZ Experience on on their own bike, you are not normally required to attend a raceschool beforehand. You will need to take a half day CTC course somewhere as part of your ACU Licence application but your ability on track will usually be assessed on the test day (Friday) of your first race meeting. If in doubt, you can chat to our Riders Rep Chris Palmer about this (see Contact Us page).
We may have 1 or 2 bikes available to borrow at the Rider School. If you are attending on your own bike you can share a garage with the chance to ask questions and receive some guidance from existing racers. Just let Chris know if you are interested.
