Time to reflect is a good thing, especially as i can now laugh at myself for having a childish rant during which I ask you to behave like an adult.
The forum stopped allowing new posts a few days before “rant day” late one evening. There’s some weird thing when somehow people can manage to post anonymously and it breaks the whole thing. It took me almost 6 hrs in total to fix. It’d been so long since the last time it happened i couldn’t remember what tables i needed to update to fix it. I do resent having to be responsible for this website, i was coerced into it in the first place so being no longer an active member and it still taking up time i don’t have to spare frustrates me.
Anyway as you say I did interpret your post as a slap in the face, and the above is not a justification, but a feeble excuse for my outburst. I now understand you didn’t mean it the way i interpreted, but to be honest i still can’t see how the addition of some smiley faces or knowing its implied sarcasm makes it funny. But then we all have a different sense of humour and tastes, I for example still find fart jokes hilarious.
You are a very amicable chap Andy, and i didn’t intent do imply that you don’t care about the club or promoting the club and i hope you will accept my apologies.
The MZ club is not being done justice with the site as it is, but all it really needs is a bit of an update and it’d still be way better than anything the other clubs have. I’ve been talking to Sue and i’ll try and sort out her login so she can update more of it.
The site renewal is on the 11th Nov, i’d like to hand it over to someone before this date. It needs to go to a UK address, so Todd isn’t really an option, tell me who, give me their details and i can start the transfer.
P.s. When i read something like this “explain to me on here if you wish or next time our paths cross” on a forum (mainly motoforum) i always think it’s some sort of challenge to a fight. I’m more of the bleeding/running away sort of person, so if you do still want a scuffle can i have a substitute? You can probably guess who i’d like to take my place, he’s the most experienced current member when it comes to duelling.
