just looked over a few time sheets from this weekend. it makes for good reading.......the bikes are obviously getting a bit quicker, and better prepared.....but mostly it's because the standard of riding is getting better, throughout the field.
quite a few now getting under 1.30 consistently...which was real rarity until very recently.....and most of the top ten under 1.32.........compare that to 3 years ago, and you had few outsuide the top 3 under 1.35.........that's good progress. taff, nigel and des in particular stand out as having made massive steps forward this weekend.....top work chaps. i think taff has knocked 10 seconds of his snetterton laptime!!
now....all we need next year is the top 10 under a minute at a brands indy round...and that really will be something.
